Research Area: Interface Engineering and Defect Characterization for Wide-Bandgap Semiconductors
My research delves into the fundamental properties of advanced electronic materials. We specialize in the characterization of thin metal films on semiconductor substrates, with a particular focus on Silicon Carbide (SiC), a key material for next-generation high-power and high-temperature electronics.
Using precision techniques like Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy (DLTS), we identify and quantify atomic-level defects that critically influence device performance. Our work provides the essential insights needed to improve the reliability, efficiency, and performance of cutting-edge semiconductor devices.
Research Interests:
- Semiconductor device micro-fabrication, particularly
- Characterization of Schottky contacts
- Defects in semiconductor Devices
- Thin Film Physics & Material Characterization
