The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation was established at Midlands State University in 2010 to develop and grow entrepreneurial thinking and acting within all disciplines on campus.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s purpose is to provide a holistic and integrated development support for both students and broader community in the Midlands Province and beyond. The CEI program was designed to create future entrepreneurial leaders and a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation promotes this vision by coordinating entrepreneurship related activities at Midlands State University, fostering entrepreneurship development on campus.

Vision

To be the pace setter in developing a National, Regional Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystem.

Mission

To develop Entrepreneurial thinking and skills, To coordinate entrepreneurial and innovative activities, To develop experiential learning opportunities to complement and expand traditional learning, To develop the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem, To empower students, alumni and the community members to create new ventures.
