The Department therefore also aims to contribute towards the raising of standards of living of Zimbabweans, directly or indirectly, through teaching, research, development and application of sustainable current technical skills in land and water resources management technologies.
To achieve its goals, the department will produce graduates who will bring benefits to human beings, animals and the environment after acquiring detailed knowledge in land use planning, soil and water conservation, irrigation and other technologies appropriate for sustainable development in agriculture.
