Gweru, 21 May 2025 – Midlands State University (MSU) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) joined forces by providing career guidance on accounting and finance best practices at the Graduate School of Business Leadership.
The strategic partnership showcased premium career trajectories available to MSU graduates in professional accounting demonstrating that opportunities extend far beyond graduation.
With MSU’s extensive alumni network, ICAZ presented compelling testimonials from former students who have risen to prominence proving that the university equips graduates with strategic tools to excel in today’s competitive marketplace.
Mrs. Primrose Gurira – Chairperson of Accounting Sciences, delivered the opening remarks on behalf of the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences.
“We design our accounting, audit and risk programmes with a clear vision because chartered accountancy represents one of the most lucrative and respected professions in the financial sector,” she emphasized.
ICAZ Chief Executive Officer, Mr. William Mandisodza provided insights into their institution’s evolution and future prospectives while the Education Manager – Ms. Hope Mhindu outlined the pathways to professional membership.
“Your undergraduate studies represent the foundational step in your journey toward chartered accountancy and you are already positioned on the right track,” Mhindu assured students.
